Well...

Seems like I've been neglecting this journal big time. I guess it's just been a lot going on; homework, practice, competitions, in both tennis and the orchestra, so I've been overbooked. I think things are starting to slow down somewhat, and I'm glad, because now I might be able to work on my relationships with people instead. I feel like I'm slipping away from each and everybody and I can't say that I approve. My career is important, but so are my friends. Anyway, I'll try to do better! ^_^

I agree with you about friends. They're more important than careers, if you ask me. Even if they drive you crazy half of the time and steal your underwear during tennis practice. >_>

Well, there was Sae, who kept changing my cellphone ringtone for him to I Will Always Love You, and kept sending me sappy emails. Actually, he still does that. Then there was Bane, who kept smacking our asses with rolled up towels in the showers and on the beach. Davide would tell horrible, horrible puns and then Bane would kick him in the head for it. And Ryou would try to slip us nasty stuff into our food and drinks and then laugh at us. Kentarou used to hide our stuff while we were practising so Itsuki would search for them after practice. Someone would always hide Shudou's hair gel, and they wouldn't give it back until he was nearly crying. Every day someone would get tossed into the ocean with their clothes on. Stuff like that.

It depends whether you are distancing yourself from others on purpose, or if others are distancing yourself from you. If the former, you need to work on yourself. If the latter, you needn't worry because friends who drop you just because you are busy for a while are friends not worth keeping.
